A note from Lisa
I have been helping families buy and sell homes in Estacada and Sandy for more than 20 years, and the thing that keeps me here is the people. There is a real warmth in these communities. People look out for each other, show up for each other, and make time to celebrate together. Whether you are new to the area or have lived here your whole life, I hope this calendar helps you find your next favorite local event. If you have an event I missed, please let me know. More soon.
Stay tuned!
Estacada Events
Events, festivals, and community gatherings in Estacada
Estacada Farmers Market
Fresh local produce, artisan goods, handmade crafts, and community connections. One of my favorite Saturday morning rituals in town. The season finale is September 26, so stock up on the last of summer.
Estacada Oktoberfest
Costume contest, pumpkin painting, pie eating, polka music, and good old-fashioned community fun in the heart of downtown. Shop the final farmers market in the morning, then stay for the festival.
Chamberfest: An Evening Under the Western Stars
The Estacada Area Chamber's annual western-themed fundraiser with dinner, auction, and live music. A fun night out that supports local businesses. Tickets go quickly.
Creepy Crawl
Safe, family-friendly downtown trick-or-treating for kids on Halloween afternoon. Local businesses hand out candy while the little ones show off their costumes.
Estacada Tree Lighting
Ring in the holiday season with the annual tree lighting downtown. Hot cocoa, carols, and that small-town Christmas feeling.
Sandy Events
Events, festivals, and community gatherings in Sandy
Mount Hood Farmers Market
Fresh produce, local honey, baked goods, and artisan crafts. A wonderful Friday afternoon tradition in Sandy.
Sandy City Farmers Market
Weekend market with local farmers, food vendors, and handmade goods in a beautiful park setting. Perfect for a Saturday morning stroll.
Trick or Treat Trail
The Chamber's annual candy trail through downtown Sandy, with the Sandy Kiwanis handing out treats near the public library parking lot. Draws over a thousand trick-or-treaters each year.
Winterfest
Holiday celebration with festive activities, lights, and community cheer. A lovely way to close out the year in Sandy.
